Skin | Sonia Haberstich | June 1 to July 31, 2015

Skin is an installation made up of vibrant and tactile materials that overwhelm the senses of the observer. Pieces of fabric, painted canvases, knitwear and casts of dried paint encompass the entire project window referencing the human body.

Sonia Haberstich was born in Quebec City on December 9, 1960. She obtained a BFA in 2004 and a MFA in Painting from Concordia University in 2008. She has had many solo exhibitions, more recently at Artmandat in France (2009), at the Musée d’art contemporain des Laurentides (2009) and at La Centrale in Montreal (2008).
