Tim Belliveau’s Your Natural World reflects the desire for a coherent and sinuous personal reworking of the natural, mythological, and spiritual. A near-death experience during what Belliveau has described as an ‘Urban Parks Odyssey’ (three weeks spent in Fish Creek Park), was the impetus for this exhibition. In response, Your Natural World meticulously manifests the “Dominant Primordial Beast’s”(a self-given moniker) reflections on nature during this time. Accordingly, Belliveau’s work itself is an attempt to come to terms with, to make sense of, and to situate the often overwhelming and mysterious properties of our natural world.
The +15 Window Project is located in the EPCOR Centre for the Performing Arts +15 pedestrian walkway. 235 - 9th Ave. S.E
